Kurukshetra University Organises Heritage Walk To Promote Tourism In The City

Kurukshetra University organised an intiative heritage and spiritual walk in the land of Mahabharata which will be a walk through various historical sites of the holy city.

Sachin Bansal, Chief Explorer & Founder mentions, said, “We also aim to promote religious tourism and create sensitivity among the individuals about their heritage, both tangible and intangible. Creating cultural heritage awareness is an important aspect of our heritage walks and programs”.

He added, “Our experiences are curated to help travellers in ‘exploring the city’s soul’ and create a forum where they can engage with locals and receive unparalleled access to the treasure troves of history and culture, making each interaction and experience memorable and worthwhile. By introducing Krishna circuit through Kurukshetra heritage and spiritual walk our intent is to nurture the human past to bring it closure to the present.

With a mission to offer engaging interactions with local cultures “India City Walks” redefines the art showcasing travel and tourism excellence of India to the World.

The intention of “India City Walks” is to promote destination Kurukshetra and get travelers closer to treasure troves of history, heritage, cultures and humane values which are fast becoming a forgettable relic in a rapidly transforming society.

India City Walks and Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, Kurukshetra University, joined hands to start the heritage walks.

The holy land of Kurukshetra marks a pivotal point in the Krishna narratives and that is why this special experience has been flagged off from here. By starting Kurukshetra heritage walks India City Walks embark on a new journey to all pilgrimage destinations for storytelling.

India City Walks, which is a three-time National award-winning organization, believes in creating exquisite experiences for residents and travelers alike.
