UFO Tourism- Get abducted by a new Adventure Activity

A Sci-fi adventure tourism trend on the rise though not known to many around the world but this strange phenomenon of visiting a UFO sighting place or a place believed to be a UFO crash site is pulling the people towards it.

So, UFO tourism generally means going to places where there have been reported sightings of UFO’s and exploring them just for the sake of pleasing your inner adventure demon. UFO Tourism has become one of the adventure tourism activities taken up by a significant number of people from around the world.

In the year 2017, there were reportedly 4881 sightings in the USA alone and the craze of UFO sighting has reached such heights in no time because UFOs have always been a fascinating topic for the common public and such is the craze to explore more about this that it has become a full-fledged adventure activity. It is like a cherry on the cake for the adventure travelers looking for something new.

It will not be wrong to say that looking at the current potential of this type of tourism that it will become a major trend in the coming time where people will greatly visit destination for the exploration of sights where either UFO was sighted or where it was believed to be crashed.

There are some popular destinations that are widely renowned for UFO sightings also popularly known as UFO hotspot where there is an unusually large number of recorded UFO sightings.

  • Alto Paraíso de Goiás, Goiás

United States of America

  • Area 51, Nevada – An American military base formerly used for nuclear testing and believed  

by some to harbor the bodies of extraterrestrials.    

  • Marfa, Texas – The famed Marfa lights are thought by some to be alien in origin.

Many places and tour operators have started giving a day-wise itinerary and offer a plethora of activities to the tourist who wants to experience this phenomenon.

Also, another type of tourism closely related to it is “X-Files Tourism” which is the sightseeing and exploration of real-life locations featured in the television series The X-Files. Many of the locations are related to the UFO phenomenon and other unexplained phenomena, such as ley lines.
