Kohima, Nov 7 Nagaland’s famous Hornbill Festival that lasts for 10 days will be celebrated at the picturesque Naga Heritage village, Kisama, from December 1, officials of the state tourism department said. The festival is an annual tourism promotional event of the state government, jointly organised by the Tourism and Art and Culture Departments, to showcase the rich traditional heritage and colourful culture of the Naga people.

Kolkata: Noted mountaineer from the state Satyarup Siddhanta who had successfully climbed the Mt Everest in June 2016 is now beginning his expedition of scaling the Seven Summits in December.
