Anshu Jamsenpa, a mother of two, who hails from Bomdila, the headquarters of West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh on May 22 last became the world’s first woman to scale Mt Everest twice in five days. The ace mountaineer’s double ascent of the world’s highest peak was her fifth overall, and the second after May 16.
